My Portal 2 Review

Portal 2 is the sequel to the title named "Game of the Year" 2007 by over 30 publications around the world. Portal 2 promises to break new ground in next generation gaming by expanding the award-winning recipe of innovative gameplay, immersive story, and creative inclusion of music while also introducing multiplayer co-op game modes.

Plot
Portal introduced the main character Chell and her fight to escape the Aperture Science facility controlled by the infamous AI GLaDOS armed only with her portal gun. In Portal 2 Chell's been asleep in the cryo-storage, apparently, for 50 000 years after the first game. She's quickly woken up by the british robot Wheatley and they begin to escape the run-down facility.

Sound
The sound is very fluid. Portal 2 has voice actors such as Stephen Merchant as Wheatley, you can enjoy voices from people who are known for their personality and sense of humour. The sound effects match the world perfectly.

Gameplay

The gameplay is very smooth. The Portal Gun "Dual Portal Device" is back, and at full force. The possibilities they give you with it this time are very varied. Some of the puzzles are quite hard and maybe take a while to solve, they are well balanced though.

Overall

The game is extremely fun, and is thrice as long as the original Portal. Portal 2 full retail price is well justified with its 8 hours of single player campaign + 4 hours of co-op campaign. I can honestly say that Portal 2 is the funniest game I've ever played. Only con I'd say are the loading times. They've been optimized obviously for outdated consoles. All in all, I can't recommend this game enough. Play it.
10/10
